Join Our Team – General Cover & P.E. Specialists (QTS)
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Barnet, North London and Hertford
Contract Type: Flexible supply – Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities
Pay: From £98 to £150 per day (depending on experience and assignment)

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with schools in Barnet and Hertford, and we are currently recruiting General Cover Teachers and P.E. Specialists to support a variety of teaching needs starting in September 2025.

Whether you're an experienced P.E. teacher or a skilled educator open to covering across subjects, we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term placements,all within dynamic and supportive school environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
• For P.E. roles: a strong understanding of the P.E. national curriculum
• Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to classroom teaching
• Commitment to student development and positive behaviour management
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Two recent references

Key Responsibilities

Roles may vary depending on the assignment and your subject specialism:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of subjects or within P.E.
• Support students of varying abilities with inclusive and differentiated teaching
• Promote a positive learning environment and contribute to the school community
• For P.E. roles: encourage participation in sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student outcomes
