Supply Teaching Assistant Full Time

We are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leeds. This role requires a good understanding of phonics packages, particularly Read Write Inc, to support early reading development and literacy skills.

• Support the delivery of Read Write Inc and other phonics-based programs
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and structured learning environment
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who need additional help with reading and writing
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Encourage a love for learning and reading in young children
• Support classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning atmosphere

• Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc and phonics-based teaching methods
• A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
