Your new role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, both 1:1 and in small groups. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support, helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH and ASD needs
• Adapting learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles
• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 40 days' experience working with children (paid or voluntary)
• Confidence in providing feedback and working with external agencies
• Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs such as SEMH and ASD
• A passion for inclusive education and child-led learning
