Are you passionate about supporting people with complex needs and making a difference in your community? We're recruiting for a Temporary Supported Housing Worker to join a dedicated team in Mendip, primarily covering Shepton Mallet and Frome.

?? Location: Mendip (Shepton Mallet & Frome)
?? Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour
? Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (rota between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, occasional weekend cover)
?? Start Date: As soon as possible (within 1-2 weeks)
?? Contract: 6-week temporary assignment, with potential for extension

• Manage and track referrals from the Local Authority

• Provide high-quality, person-centred accommodation services

• Support clients with accurate advice and promote independent living

• Maintain clear, up-to-date records in line with service standards

• Deliver effective housing management in a safe and supportive environment

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours

• Understanding of the root causes of homelessness and social exclusion

• Commitment to delivering inclusive, person-centred support

• A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance)

• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including shorter weekend shifts (e.g., 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
