Suveyor: full-time or part-time

£250-£300 per day Are you a proactive individual with a strong understanding of property maintenance and a commitment to quality? We’re seeking an interim Surveyor to join a housing association in West London. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of stock.

Key duties:

• Proactively manage various works, including voids, day-to-day repairs, damp & mould issues, disrepair, and specialist projects.
• Lead on the development of planned works programmes, including engaging with residents.
• Contribute to the procurement of contractors and manage their delivery of works programmes.
• Conduct surveys and produce detailed specifications
• Liaise and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including residents, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and customer service standards are appropriately addressed.

Client Requirements:

• Good understanding of general building maintenance and construction activities, including carpentry, plumbing, heating engineering, plastering, and tiling.
• Experience in carrying out surveys and producing detailed specifications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
