Swindon Council - Senior Procurement Officer

1. A Re-procurement of the managed stores. The contract is currently held by Travis Perkins and the project will take around 6-9 months to procure given we need stock lists updated. This is a big project and needs someone skilled to take this through from start to finish.
2. Some big and complex pieces of procurement including possible bespoke framework contract but not via a third party framework.
3. Requirement to be in the office at Waterside Park at least 2 days per week (possibly more once work commences on the managed stores contract) not necessarily consecutive so fully remote workers will not be considered.
4. Must be CIPS qualified and have undertaken procurement work in the public sector and certification in the new Procurement Act 2023.
