Systems Accountant

We are looking for a diligent Systems Accountant to join our team within a Luxury, Central London Hotel. The candidate will bring their expertise to our Accounting & Finance department, contributing to our robust financial systems.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Systems Accountant role will be:

• Support the finance function with process improvement and automation
• Simplify and enhance existing Excel-based financial models
• Document workflows and help create user-friendly manuals
• Provide input on accounts payable processes and assist with project-based finance work
• Assist with modelling around royalty fees, commission income, and revenue stream

Profile

A successful Systems Accountant should have:

• Strong Excel skills essential - confident with financial modelling and simplification
• Proven experience in systems/process improvement within an accountancy environment
• Good understanding of accounts payable (Sage 300 experience not required)
• Exposure to revenue modelling beneficial but not essential
• Polished, professional, and collaborative - able to listen and integrate with the team
