Systems Accountant (Fixed-Term, 12 Months)

• Annual Salary: £70,000-£80,000 per annum plus benefits

• Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract - Office based 4 days per week

We are seeking a Systems Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract on behalf of a fantastic real estate business in London.

This role is crucial for supporting our Finance, Systems, and Operations Teams in the development, implementation, and migration of data to a new Finance system.

You will play a key role in a dynamic real estate business with ambitious growth plans, providing an opportunity to be involved in a full ERP implementation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Serve as the day-to-day finance contact for the System, Outsource Finance Team, and other stakeholders.
• Lead finance on system implementation and updates, including addressing fixes and bugs.
• Ensure data integrity and reconciliation by preparing and reviewing reports pre- and post-migration.
• Conduct reporting, analytics, system optimisation, and process improvements.
• Liaise with teams to provide training, guidance, and assistance for month-end reporting.
• Formalise process notes/SOPs for control and compliance.
• Act as the finance lead for internal audits.
• Collaborate with System teams to link the Finance system to other systems within the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with relevant experience in similar roles.
• Broad overview of finance and in-depth knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience working within a systems role, actively involved with system functionality and delivering improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and intermediate level Excel skills.
• Confident communicator and team player, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders.
