Systems Administrator

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: 10-hour shifts, 4 days on / 3 days off (rotating weekly)

Are you a skilled and proactive Administrator? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading employer in the Bournemouth area looking to strengthen their IT operations team with reliable and technically capable professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain ACS (Access Control System) software to ensure continuous, secure operation

• Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues

• Support user access permissions, reporting, and systems updates

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to support operational integrity

• Respond to system alerts and user queries promptly, ensuring minimal downtime

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience with ACS software or similar security/access control platforms

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shift-based environment

• Flexible and dependable, with good communication and organisational skills

• IT qualification or equivalent technical experience preferred
