Targeted Support Worker

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a targeted support worker on behalf of our client based in Frome and Shepton Mallet. As part of the role, the successful candidate will support individuals who have experienced rough sleeping. In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with a small caseload of up to 10 clients, helping them overcome barriers and maintain stable tenancies across a range of local projects.

Location: Frome and Shepton Mallet
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: FTC March 2026
Salary: £25,235 per year

Main duties and responsibilities

• Conduct needs and risk assessments
• Implement support plans and provide effective support and advice
• Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
• Advise and assist clients with budgeting
• Creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on

Person Specification

• Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
• Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes
• Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
• Participation in a rostered system of working with shifts between the hours of 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM
• Primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required on a rotational basis
