KS3 Teacher - Alternative Provision (Challenging Behaviour)

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, 1-Year Fixed Term
Class Size: 8 Pupils

Tradewind Recruitment, working in close partnership with a well-established Alternative Provision, is seeking a dedicated and resilient Key Stage 3 Teacher to support a small group of pupils from September 2025 on a full-time, year-long contract.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with 8 KS3 pupils who display challenging behaviour and require a structured, supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in re-engaging students with education and fostering both academic and personal growth.

The Role:
* Delivering creative and adaptable lessons to meet a range of learning needs
* Supporting students with SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviour confidently
* Working closely with a skilled team of support staff and SEN specialists
* Creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment for pupils to thrive

Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in alternative provision or PRU settings
* Experience working with students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* A patient, compassionate, and restorative approach to behaviour management
* Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff alike
