Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Smart Education is currently recruiting for an SEN Art Teacher to work full-time in Birmingham.

This exciting role involves teaching UAL Level 2 and 3 Diploma qualifications to small groups of students aged 16–24 with special educational needs. The curriculum is inspired by local galleries, museums, and creative community spaces—so if you have a passion for art, inclusion, and inspiring young minds, we want to hear from you.

SEND experience is essential.

Job Requirements for this SEN Teacher role in Birmingham:

• QTS or equivalent qualification in teaching

• Proven experience supporting young people with SEND

• Ability to deliver creative, inclusive lessons tailored to individual EHCP needs

• A passion for the arts and real-world project-based learning

• Commitment to holistic development and employability skills

This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in smaller group settings and wants to make a real impact through a non-traditional, arts-based curriculum. You'll work closely with a collaborative support team and contribute to regular student exhibitions.
