Teacher of Business Studies - Canterbury

Academics, Canterbury are working closely with a very well respected secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies teacher to join them in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional or a newly qualified teacher looking to contribute to the education of young minds and inspire a passion for business.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality and engaging Business Studies lessons to students at various levels across KS4 and A-level
• Planning and preparing lesson materials, including assessments and assignments
• Implementing effective teaching strategies and utilising modern educational resources and technology
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student growth
• Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborating with colleagues to support the overall development of the Business Studies curriculum

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• A degree in Business Studies or a related field
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best
• Effective communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to professional development and staying up to date with educational trends and practices
