Teacher of English - Wirral Secondary School

Tradewind Recruitment, the most recommended teaching agency in the Liverpool City Region, is seeking a dedicated Teacher of English for a full-time position at a Wirral secondary school. This role starts after the Easter holidays and will continue for at least one full term.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop a deep appreciation for literature and language. The school's English department is committed to:

• Fostering a love of literature, encouraging students to read widely and independently.
• Developing discerning, critical readers whose analytical skills enable them to interpret the world around them.

To be considered for this Teacher of English role, you must have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new disclosure
• A full and complete CV
• A minimum of two references
• The legal right to work in the UK
• An overseas police check (if applicable)

Pay Rate:

Up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
