Teacher of English

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher looking for a fresh opportunity? Reed Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Rotherham to recruit a Teacher of English for a September 2025 start.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitoring and assessing student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting the wider school community and contributing to extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in English or a related subject
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
