Our school is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every student and providing a stimulating environment for both staff and students.This is a full time opportunity, covering KS3 and KS4 English, to start immediately after the Easter break, on an ongoing basis. Job share options could be considered.
Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Cover lessons across various subjects in the absence of regular teachers.
• Support the school's ethos and contribute to the wider school community.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related field.
• Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover a range of subjects when needed.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
