History Teacher Job - Batley-based Secondary SchoolStart: September 2025

Timetable: Full-time (including form tutor responsibilities)
Rate of Pay: £160 - £250 per day (Dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Batley who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time and long-term job.
To be successful in this job, you will have experience of teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4 in the last 2 years. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, will be required.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
• Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and 4
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
