Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching A Level Mathematics
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality A Level Maths lessons with clarity and pace
• Plan schemes of work that align with curriculum requirements
• Set and mark assessments that promote student progress
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Provide stretch and challenge for high-attaining students
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Engage in departmental meetings and share best practices
• Liaise with parents, carers, and academic mentors as needed
• Contribute to the development of maths teaching resources
• Act as a positive role model aligned with the college's ethos and values
