Job Title: QTS Maths Teacher

Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Blackburn for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to develop a love for mathematics and a solid understanding of key concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support improvement
• Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning in students
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Maths clubs or competitions
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where students feel motivated to achieve their potential

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for Maths and helping students build confidence in the subject
