Are you a passionate Maths educator or an experienced Cover Supervisor with a background in teaching Maths?
We are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a vibrant high school in Burnley on a temporary, full-time basis from September 2025 until Christmas. There is also the possibility of an extension beyond this period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve their best. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Mathematics.

• Supporting students of all abilities, ensuring differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive, focused learning environment.

• Providing academic support and preparing students for upcoming assessments.

• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an aligned and effective curriculum.

• QTS Maths Teacher or Experienced Cover Supervisor with a solid understanding of Maths (Essential).

• Previous experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths (Preferred for QTS candidates).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to differentiate lessons for various learning needs.

• A passion for teaching Maths and helping students succeed academically.

• For Cover Supervisors, previous experience covering Maths lessons will be an advantage.
