We are recruiting a full-time Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Leeds from September. You will play a key role in inspiring students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Essential Qualifications:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong subject knowledge across all science disciplines.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to mixed-ability groups.
• Create engaging and differentiated learning materials.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policy.
• Monitor student achievement and use data to inform planning.
• Promote scientific literacy and curiosity among students.
• Participate in school-wide events and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of SEND and EAL students.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive lab environment, following all health and safety protocols.
