Part-Time Teacher of Science - Wirral Secondary School
Pay: Up to £232.56 per day (depending on experience)
Days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (potential to become full-time)
Start: Long-term position

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Wirral who are seeking a part-time Teacher of Science to join their team. This long-term role is an excellent opportunity for a committed Science specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and raising attainment across Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5).

• Teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5 to mixed-ability groups

• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements

• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

• Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school community

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

• Previous secondary school teaching experience (KS3-KS5 desirable)

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• A passion for inspiring young people in Science
