Teaching Assistant

Romano Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil on a 1:1 basis in a primary school in Burnley. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, especially in early years settings.

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with autism in Reception

• Assist in classroom activities and learning interventions

• Implement strategies to support the child's development and social skills

• Work closely with teachers and SENCO to meet learning goals

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN support

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)

• Understanding of autism and early years development

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

• Position:Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEN

• Location: Burnley

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

• Pay Rate: £15.94 per hour
