Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Year 2 class, as a teaching assistant with their learning and development.
• Work closely with the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant to create engaging lessons.
• Provide small-group and one-to-one interventions to reinforce key learning areas.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Support children with SEND and additional learning needs when required.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and patient approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• A commitment to a long-term teaching assistant role in a primary school setting.
