Salary: £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) school in Allerdale, and we are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of complex needs. Working closely with class teachers and the wider support staff, you will help deliver tailored learning and care to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people with PMLD, SEN, or complex needs (desirable but not essential)
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Be confident using communication aids or open to training
• Possess a strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
