Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist Alternative Provision School in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a setting that provides tailored education to students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. You'll be working closely with experienced teaching staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The Role:

• Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis across KS3 and KS4
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with young people with additional needs, SEMH, or in a PRU/AP setting
• Calm, patient, and adaptable
• Confident supporting behaviour management strategies
• A relevant TA qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
