Teaching Assistant - Pinner

Engage Education is working in partnership with a warm and supportive primary school in Pinner to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support students with ASD and ADHD. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.

The school is committed to nurturing pupils’ emotional well-being alongside their academic development and provides excellent guidance and support for staff working with pupils who require additional support.

• Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
• Location: Pinner
• Start date: September 2025
• Type: Full-time, long-term (Monday to Friday)

What We're Looking For:

This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, or Behaviour Mentor, or have a background in child psychology or care, we'd love to hear from you.

You will:

• Be confident supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
• Build strong, consistent, and trusting relationships with pupils
• Use positive behaviour strategies and a trauma-informed approach
• Remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
• Be committed to helping the pupil achieve both academically and emotionally

• Psychology or Education graduates
• Individuals with experience in social care or emotional support roles
