Role: Teaching Assistant

Pay rate: Up to £600 per week

Horizon Teachers are seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum that offers every child the opportunity to succeed and flourish, fulfilling the aims of the National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities:

• Using detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support all pupils' learning, particularly within the disciplines of Literacy/Numeracy/Social Skills
• Supporting pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs
• To provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
• To support the class teacher in organising the classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation
