Horizon Teachers are working in partnership with a thriving Primary School, with a great history and a bright future. This school has a long tradition of participation in music and sports, with children taught and encouraged by specialist teachers.

About the school:

• The school believe that children learn best through meaningful play-based experiences. Within our early years classrooms, children will experience both adult led activities with a specific learning intention, and child-initiated play where they can create their own experiences using the broad range of resources available to them.
• The school have created an English Curriculum that is creative and thought-provoking through making cross-curricular links wherever possible. We present children with choices in how they would like to develop their independent writing; yet we also take a flexible approach to allow for changes that suit each cohort

• Can develop excellence in the leadership of teaching of all phases and are committed to your own professional learning.
• Can embed strong, consistent practice in the planning, teaching and assessment of maths and writing, ensuring strong progression and high achievement for all pupils
• Will ensure growing awareness and celebration of diversity and inclusion in our school community, including racial, cultural and neurodiversity.
• Improve all indoor and outdoor spaces in the school to promote an ethic of excellence in utilising and enhancing our school environment.
