About the Role
Long Term Futures is delighted to partner with a leading specialist school in Derbyshire to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant for a long-term role. You'll be at the heart of a nurturing, therapeutic environment, supporting pupils aged 7-18 with autism spectrum disorder and complex educational needs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in preparing adapted learning materials and delivering engaging classroom activities.
• Support pupils' emotional, physical and communication needs - both 1:1 and in small groups.
• Facilitate outdoor learning experiences and supervise pupils in varied settings.
• Help create a structured, inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive.
• Work in partnership with teachers, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For

• A responsive, caring, and adaptable individual excited by both classroom and outdoor learning.
• Level 2 English & Maths (GCSE Grade?4/C or above).
• Full UK driving licence (due to limited public transport access).
• Previous experience with pupils with SEND or ASD is highly desirable.
