Teaching Assistants Needed - SEN School (Whitehaven Area)

We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Whitehaven area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children with a range of additional needs within a small classroom environment (up to 10 pupils). You'll work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• One-to-one (1:1) support for pupils with individual needs
• In-class assistance to help maintain a positive learning environment
• Personal care duties where required
• Supporting pupils with emotional, social, and learning development

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to support with personal care when needed

Location: Whitehaven

Start Date: ASAP - July 2026
