Teaching Assistant

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with St Joseph’s RC Primary School, part of the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, to recruit a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and values-led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does.

While the primary focus will be on 1:1 support, some general classroom assistance may also be required.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children

• Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)

• Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

• Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative

• Hold a relevant Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
