As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom activities, aiding pupil learning, and contributing to a positive school experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist teachers in preparing for lessons and creating a conducive learning environment.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material.
• Support students with special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
• Help manage classroom resources and ensure they are available and in good condition.
• Supervise students during non-classroom times such as lunch breaks and field trips.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
• Encourage students to engage in learning activities and promote positive behaviour.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to student learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and flexible attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
