Teaching Assistant

Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting both teachers and pupils across EY to KS2.

Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Wandsworth, West London

• Provide classroom support to the teacher, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and promote academic progress.

• Assist in preparing classroom materials and maintaining an organised learning environment.

• Encourage a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports all learners.

• Support with playground supervision and accompany pupils on school trips when required.

• Experience working within a primary school setting, ideally as a Teaching assistant

• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to classroom support.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for education and helping children thrive.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
