Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: West Sussex

Start Date: Sept '25

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team at a secondary school across West Sussex. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to support students in their academic and personal development and have the ability to manage behaviour and create positive relationships with their students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the preparation of lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with secondary school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Right to work in the UK
