Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding new role from September 2025?

Academics is currently recruiting for a long-term, full-time Teaching Assistant position at a welcoming and supportive primary school in the heart of Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a real difference in children's lives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting (essential)
• An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (essential)
• EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration (essential)
• Two recent, professional references
