Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning and development? A thriving secondary school in Stratford is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team on a long-term basis starting in September.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers and the SEND team to support students across a range of subjects. You'll provide one-to-one and small group support, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every student feels supported and included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class and individual support to students, particularly those with SEND
• Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored interventions
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Help track and report on student progress
• Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous experience working with young people, especially those with SEND
• Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
• Has excellent communication skills
• Works well as part of a team
• Holds a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
