Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bromley to find a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role (8:30 AM 3:30 PM), providing 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs.

The Role
We're looking for someone patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children with additional needs succeed. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll work 1:1 with a KS1 pupil, supporting their learning, behaviour, and emotional development throughout the school day. You'll be a key part of their support system, helping them feel confident, included, and understood.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing 1:1 support to a KS1 child with special educational needs • Assisting with daily learning tasks, tailored activities, and emotional regulation • Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment • Collaborating with teachers, the SENCO, and parents/carers • Supporting the child's academic progress and emotional well-being
