Teaching Assistant

Warm, community-minded primary in Harrow is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support across KS1/KS2. Lovely behaviour, friendly staff, and a Head who genuinely invests in support staff.

• In-class support, small groups and some 1:1 (literacy & numeracy focus)

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo

• Build confidence, routines and independence with pupils

• Track progress and keep simple records

• Recent TA / classroom experience (primary preferred)

• Calm, patient approach with empathy, patience and flexibility

• Confidence supporting children with SEND (ASD/ADHD) is a plus

• Right to work in the UK + Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)

Details:

• Location: Harrow

• Start: ASAP or September

• Hours: 8:30-3:30, term-time only

• Pay:£90-£110 per day (umbrella), depending on experience

• Contract: Long-term (temp-to-perm available)
