Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Flexible Supply, Full-Time or Part-Time Options
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking flexible and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis within a Primary School in Hillingdon, supporting their specialist SEND Unit.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for inclusive education who want to gain experience across different year groups and work with children with special educational needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role Will Involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils within the SEND Unit

• Assisting with learning activities and adapting materials to meet pupil needs

• Supporting children with their social and emotional development

• Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

• Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with additional needs (school, care or youth work settings welcome)

• A calm, patient and proactive approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• A Level 2/3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
