We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Northampton seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide behaviour support starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require extra guidance and a positive role model in their daily school life. The role is long-term and full-time, ideal for someone with a passion for helping children thrive both academically and socially.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting students with behavioural needs in and out of the classroom

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement behaviour strategies

• Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress

• Managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience supporting children with behavioural or special educational needs

• Calm, resilient, and patient with strong behaviour management skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children's emotional and social development

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• A flexible and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
