Teaching Assistant - BSL Level 2 Required

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 qualification to support students with hearing impairments in a school setting. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students access the curriculum and engage fully in their learning environment.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support for students using BSL.

• Assist in delivering lessons and activities tailored to individual communication needs.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and external professionals.

• Support classroom inclusion and help develop accessible learning resources.

• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• BSL Level 2 certification (minimum).

• Strong communication skills and a supportive attitude.

• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education or care settings.

• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.

• Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).

• Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
