Academics Ltd is currently recruiting for a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school setting in the Cheltenham area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support children across the curriculum, assisting with behaviour management, academic progress, and daily classroom routines. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils succeed both academically and emotionally.

Key Details:

• Cheltenham
• Mainstream Primary
• Daily pay: £85- £95 (dependent on experience)
• A valid enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply for one through Academics Ltd)
• Must provide references covering the last two years
• Full-time, term-time only position

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant role:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils who require additional help
• Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Help pupils with special educational needs (SEN) access learning through tailored strategies
• Prepare learning materials and assist with general classroom administration
• Promote good behaviour and support the social and emotional wellbeing of pupils
