Teaching Assistants

An exciting opportunity is available for a Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools located in the borough of Ealing starting in September 2025 until the end of the term for the first instance.

This position is available on an ongoing basis with a strong possibility of it becoming a permanent contract. It's a great opportunity for those who are keen to pursue a career in education to gain valuable classroom experience.

As the successful Teaching Assistants, you will be supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) within the classroom, providing support on a one-to-one basis and as part of small groups to vulnerable students. The ideal candidates will be a clear communicator, someone who is dedicated, a role model, and passionate about building rapport with students. The role also includes supporting teachers and students, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.

The schools you will be placed within will be large mixed secondary school that is easily accessible via public transport. The school caters to ages 12-18 and has outstanding behaviour. The school is part of an established team with an experienced SENco and weekly meetings.

The pay for this role is £90-£100 per day and the hours are 8.30am - 4.00pm (Monday to Friday) full-time until the end of the academic year.

To join the school, you will need to hold a high-level degree, have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Also, your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and you should have legal right to work in the UK.
