A well-established secondary school in Burnley is seeking dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistants to join their team. These are full-time, long-term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their educational journey and who demonstrate a high level of commitment and reliability.

What We're Looking For:

• A recognised qualification in supporting teaching and learning
• Applicants must hold a Level 2, Level 3, or HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification
• Previous experience working in a secondary school environment is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and proactive approach to classroom support
• A genuine interest in helping young people succeed

Role Overview:

• Supporting students aged 11-16 in a range of subjects
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and resource preparation
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment

Key Details:

• Location: Burnley, Lancashire
• Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Long-term with a view to becoming permanent
