Job Description - Team Administrator

Reed Talent Solutions are working in partnership with Cadent Gas on the search for Team Administrator. Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work.

Role Description:

  • Provide administrative support to the team.
  • Offer advice and support via various communication channels.
  • Maintain and develop working relationships.
  • Promote safe team working philosophy.
  • Ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

  • Provide brilliant customer service to all stakeholders.

Functional Accountabilities:

  • Comprehensive administrative support to the Capital Delivery team.
  • Facilitate and coordinate key activities for smooth team operations.
  • Manage diary, purchase orders, reporting, and systems maintenance.
  • Coordinate information flow from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, mail, and correspondence.
  • Maintain the Capital Delivery SharePoint site.
  • Schedule meetings and arrange accommodation/car hire for the team.

Specialist Accountabilities:

  • Act as SharePoint 'super-user’ for the team.
  • Create ad-hoc and bespoke KPI reports.
  • Produce standard reporting from the IMS system.
  • Assist in onboarding new staff.
  • Maintain team records, including financial and training registers.
  • Support meetings, briefings, and events.
  • Attend meetings as a note-taker and distribute minutes.
  • Retrieve and manipulate data for team templates.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade C/4 or above.
  • A-Level qualifications or equivalent post-secondary education (desirable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with document management tools like SharePoint.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in administrative support in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in coordinating meetings and managing communications.
  • Proficiency in office software and document management tools.
  • Familiarity with organisational processes and team dynamics.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Efficient record and documentation management.
