Job Description - Team Assistant

TEAM ASSISTANT

Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to support their fast-paced office. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable and an excellent communicator. Strong administrative skills, flexibility and the ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, is required. A professional attitude, strong work ethic and “can-do” approach are key to thriving in this collaborative team environment.

TEAM ASSISTANT ROLE:
  • Acting as a first point of contact, handling communications and representing the team professionally
  • Dealing with correspondence and phone calls, prioritising and responding as needed
  • Managing a diary for six analysts, scheduling meetings and avoiding conflicts
  • Organising travel arrangements, booking transport and accommodation
  • Creating, amending and formatting presentations using PowerPoint to meet team standards
  • Assisting with binding and preparing presentations for meetings
  • Conducting handovers to other PAs to ensure smooth workflow and coverage
  • Ordering couriers and tracking deliveries to ensure timely arrival
  • Filing, photocopying and handling routine admin tasks
  • Multitasking and staying flexible to meet varied team requests
TEAM ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
  • 1 year minimum experience as a Personal Assistant and Administrator
  • Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Showing confidence, approachability and the ability to use initiative
  • Organising tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail
  • Displaying a flexible attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Working effectively as a supportive and dependable team player
  • Confidently using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Managing time effectively and prioritising competing tasks
