Team Manager - Adult MASH (Peripatetic Role)

Are you an experienced Adults Team Manager looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a peripatetic role within Adult Social Care providing leadership where it's needed most. The role will be based in the Oldham, Manchester area.

You'll initially be deployed to the Adults MASH team to help stabilise the service, with the flexibility to move across other ASC teams as priorities shift.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operational delivery of the Adults MASH service
• Oversee complex safeguarding referrals and ensure timely decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure safe, person-centred outcomes
• Provide supervision and support to social work staff across varying teams
• Contribute to service improvements, workforce stability, and effective performance management
• Flexibly deploy into different service areas depending on organisational need

To be considered for the role, ideally you have:

• BSc Social Work or equivalent
• SWE registered
• Proven experience as a Team Manager within Adults Social Care
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and MASH procedures
• Confident leading staff through change and managing complex caseloads
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment
