? Social Work England Registration Required

Are you a passionate and experienced Team Manager ready to make a real impact? HAL Children’s Services is seeking a dynamic leader to join their Duty and Assessment Team — a key frontline service responding to referrals and safeguarding concerns.

What you’ll do:

Lead and manage a team of social workers handling initial assessments and urgent safeguarding work
Provide high-quality supervision and oversight of decision-making
Ensure statutory responsibilities are met to the highest standard
Work collaboratively with partners and families to achieve positive outcomes for children

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in a similar management role within children’s social care
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Registration with Social Work England
