Contract Role - Technical BA/Business Analyst Data Backup Recovery - Contract - Yorkshire/ /Edinburgh/Hybrid - 06 Months Initial - Inside/Outside IR35

Gibbs Consulting is on the lookout for an experienced Technical Business Analyst (BA) specializing in Data Backup and Recovery. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the current backup and recovery environment, identifying any weaknesses that could hinder the bank's ability to restore Important Business Services (IBS) within the acceptable impact tolerance following a severe yet plausible event, such as a ransomware attack.

• Strong business analysis background with expertise in systems and data processes.
• Proficiency in data mining, data analysis and process optimization.
• Data Dictionary
• Data Lineage
• Data Flow
• Data mapping
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Protection Analyser and Blue XP.
• Prior experience in the banking industry is essential.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to fast-paced projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
